Chad grew up near Cincinnati and came back to the area to join the University of Cincinnati pulmonary-critical care fellowship program after spending some time in the South.
His primary clinical and research interests include acute and chronic lung diseases whose common pathways ultimately result in interstitial fibrosis. He hopes to foster that interest further as he currently works on a project investigating how CFTR impacts alveologenesis in the setting of lung injury and repair.
Chad and his wife recently welcomed a new addition to their family earlier this year. When not hanging out with his adorable son and amazing wife, he enjoys visiting friends and family, playing trivia, shooting sporting clays with his brother, coaching youth basketball, and playing in the volleyball league with his co-fellows.
